Lightwork Volume III (+ Mini Lightwork Volume III Bonus)

My favorite palette this year! Pigment is amazing! Love the black and face shades too! If you don’t have any multichromes it’s a must! This palette is absolutely stunning and lives up to the duo- and multi-chrome hype that Danessa Myricks is becoming known for, and for good reason. The pigments are incredibly rich and silky, the gels are a fun and interesting texture with intense payoff when built up or layered over other shades, and the highlighters are fun for enhancing the drama and adding some additional glam, for cheeks as well as eyes. The highlighters are a bit on the glittery side but not without bringing some payoff and beautiful shine for the various shifts, so it kind of makes up for it. This isn't a palette for being subtle - everything has impact, and the single black shadow acts as a fantastic base for more colorful shades to create even more dimension. I appreciated getting a bonus palette of the highlighters too, my sister also loves makeup and it will be a fun gift for her for Christmas. This palette is an absolute knockout, and a must-have if you love to fingerpaint with multichromes like I do.

I just got this today and I can't stop playing with it! The quality is so so good -- the gels are really interesting and fun, the black is so smooth and easy to work with, and the multichromes are really incredible. These are my first multichromes and I know some people have said that they're nothing special if you already have indie singles, but I don't and these are perfect. Their texture is similar to Pat McGrath's smooth shimmers in her big palettes -- the red in Bronze Seduction, the blue in Subliminal, etc. The highlights are a bit glittery for my own personal taste, but they can be buffed out a bit or built up, depending on what you want. They are, however, beautiful inner corner shades, and they're also great as toppers. I haven't tried the pressed glitter, but everything else is just really wonderful, highly recommend this one!

I really like how interesting and unique the colors and the textures are in this palette. Really beautiful product. I thought I would be enjoying the eyeshadows more, but the middle row has become my favorite as highlight or inner corner highlight. They are SO pretty.

If you love looking like an absolute creasing mess by 10am, this palette is for you. I’ve tried multiple primers and different ways to prep my eyelids and nothing has worked. It creases within an hour of application. The swatches are amazing, don’t get me wrong. But actually wearing it is a different story. I’ll be returning it

I am over the moon happy with this palette. The multichromes are so beautiful and rich, I put the darker ones over a black base and pat them on with my finger. They stay put and really show their shift in the light.

I use white base with the lighter ones and they are just stunning. I love the gels and building some of the shades up on top of each other. The payoff is intense and they last at least 6-8 hours before starting to fade.

The middle row has the gorgeous highlights, I use them for inner corner of my eyes to make them sparkle. I do layer those over top of other shadows from other palettes I have as well and it just makes them even more special.

I didn't really have many multichromes in my collection, so this rounded them out and I am extremely happy with this purchase. I will be looking at more items from Danessa in the future.

This is a gorgeous palette. It’s most suitable if you don’t already own multichromes or even if you do but yearn for a way to have them in a more travel-friendly form. This is versatile so you can create a myriad of creative looks. I am loving this.

This to me has been the best palette in 2021, the duo chrome in this palette is absolutely beautiful, the pigments are so creamy and rich in color great job Danessa Myricks.

This palette is so stunning. The multi chromes are to die for. Packaging is very luxe. Totally worth the money and you also get an extra face palette on Beautylish. I have to agree with others…my favorite palette this year! So excited for future releases from her. Every product I purchased from this brand has been really good!

First off, I did not receive the mini lightwork bonus palette as mentioned in this product title. Unsure if they ran out, but that’s fine. The colors creased even with a primer. They needed to be set with an eyeshadow or powder, which takes away from the duo chrome
